We are currently building a set of cabinets and bookcases for Lee and Genny to complement a brick fireplace and chimney in their living room. The woodwork is cut from 19th century beech timbers that Lee salvaged and hauled from Ohio. We’ve found beech to be hard, similar to maple, and to have a color and grain similar to alder.
